Abu Dhabi Housing Authority Signs Two Landmark Agreements with Q Holding
Abu Dhabi has recently unveiled an unprecedented venture in collaboration with Q Holding PJSC to develop 1,742 villas at a remarkable cost exceeding Dh7 billion. The project aims to address the housing needs of its citizens, marking a significant milestone for the region.
The ambitious West Baniyas residential project will encompass 1,500 residential villas, accompanied by the construction of eight mosques and 14 commercial buildings. Spanning across an extensive land area of 584.7 hectares, the project is expected to reach completion by the second quarter of 2027. With a substantial investment surpassing Dh6.3 billion, the development strives to establish vibrant and sustainable housing communities.
Likewise, the Al Samha project will feature 242 villas, along with two mosques and a variety of retail units. Encompassing an area of 53.4 hectares, this project is projected to conclude by the fourth quarter of 2025, with an investment exceeding Dh734 million.
To materialize these ambitious undertakings, the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority has entered into two crucial agreements with Q Holding PJSC, demonstrating their commitment to fulfilling the visionary goals set forth by Abu Dhabi’s leadership. The ultimate objective is to provide stability and enhance social well-being for citizens by developing integrated and sustainable housing communities that cater to their evolving needs and those of their families.
Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, emphasized the significance of these contracts, highlighting their instrumental role in realizing the leadership’s vision for the betterment of citizens’ lives.
